Addressing an election rally in Dehradun, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday came down hard at senior Congress leader Ahmed Patel and the Gandhi family for their alleged role in the AgustaWestland VVIP chopper deal scam.
Referring to the chargesheet filed in the case, PM Modi asked which family is Ahmed Patel close to?
“The chargesheet mentions that AP stands for Ahmed Patel and FAM means family. Now, you tell me which family is Ahmed Patel closed to?” PM Modi said.

While speaking at an election rally in Uttar Pradesh’s Saharanpur earlier in the day, Modi also lashed out at the opposition parties, saying their only agenda in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections is to remove Modi. And the Opposition’s sole objective is to promote dynasty.
“Opposition’s only agenda is ‘Modi Hatao’ (remove Modi), only intention is to promote ‘vansvaad’ (dynastic politics),” Modi said.
He also addressed an election rally in Amroha of western Uttar Pradesh and slammed the opposition for questioning the defence forces about their cross-border operations. Modi said that whenever India replies to its enemies in their language, some people start crying.
