Is Sanjay Leela Bhansali planning to make a film on Balakot air strike?

After the success of Aditya Dhar’s ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’, it was reported that producers had been scrambling to register titles related to patriotism and titles related to the air strike in Balakot by the IAF.

In the light of the recent air strike that took place on February 26, it is reported that a film based on the subject will be going into production soon which will be co-produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Bhushan Kumar according to a daily.

Breaking the mold of doing period movies, Bhansali is planning to dive into the patriotic thriller genre. The casting of the film on the Balakot strike is currently underway and several A-listers have shown interest in being a part of the project.

The titles that have been registered as of now for the strike are Balakot, Pulwama: The Deadly Attack, Surgical Strike 2.0 and How’s the Josh?

After the huge success of films in the patriotic genre like ‘Uri’ and ‘Satyamev Jayate’, the film on Balakot air strike will gain traction and grab eyeballs.
