Balakot airstrike by India: Pakistan breaches Indian air space , IAF shoots down F-16 jet

Pakistani fighter jets violated Indian air space in Nowshera sector of Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district on Wednesday morning. They were immediately pushed back by retaliatory fire by Indian jets on air patrol.

The Pakistani jets dropped bombs while returning, officials said. There were no reports of casualties or any damage so far.

PAKISTAN AIR FORCE’S F-16 SHOT DOWN BY INDIAN JETS 

Pakistan Air Force’s F-16 that violated Indian air space shot down by Indian jets on air patrol, 3 km within Pakistan territory in Lam valley in Nowshera, reported by ANI.

While Pakistan claims that the purpose of the action was not to retaliate but only to demonstrate their right.

Airports closed for civilian air traffic

Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Amritsar, and Pathankot airports have been closed for civilian air traffic post the air space violation and retaliatory action.
