Pulwama attack: Film body bans Pakistani artists from Indian film Industry

The All India Cine Workers Association shared a twitter post with a letter that stated that it would ban all Pakistani actors and artists from the Hindi film industry and take a strong action against them owing to ghastly Pulwama terror attack. While the nation mourns the death of over 40 CRPF jawans martyred in the attack, celebrities and people have also come forth donating money to the families of the jawans.

The notice titled ‘Pakistani Artists Banned in Film Industry’ read as, “All India Cine Workers strongly condemns the brutal terrorist attack on our soldiers at Pulwama district in Jammu and Kashmir. Our heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, AICWA stands with the nation in confronting such terror and inhumanity.

“We’re officially announcing a total ban on Pakistani Actors and Artists working in Film Industry. Still, if any organisation insists on working with Pakistani Artists will be banned by AICWA and strong action will be taken against them.

Nation comes first, we stand with our nation.”

 

This comes in right after the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) party had warned record labels to drop Pakistani singers. T-Series label also delisted the latest singles by Atif Aslam and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan from its YouTube channel.
