CM Yogi flags off ‘Sarthi Sandesh Vahini’ vehicles in Gorakhpur

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath flagged off 33 vehicles named ‘Sarthi Sandesh Vahini’ in Gorakhpur. The government has taken up this awareness initiative for the prevention of diseases like Encephalitis.

The aim of the initiative is to prevent and cure diseases like Encephalitis. Encephalitis is an inflammation of the brain tissue. The most common cause is viral infections. In rare cases it can be caused by bacteria or even fungi.

The first phase of the campaign will be held from February 10 to 28 in selected districts.

The campaign is planned to take place in three phases. The second phase of the program will kick start from May 15 to June 15 and third phase is scheduled to take place from July 01 to July 30.
