CBFC raises objections on certain scenes in ‘Thackeray’

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has raised objections to the upcoming Bollywood biopic ‘Thackeray’.

The drama film is based on the film is based on life of Bal Thackeray, the founder of Shiv Sena.

CBFC has raised objections on four dialogues and two scenes and have asked them to make necessary changes. The makers of the film also stated that they are trying to solve the issue with CBFC, according to the law and are hopeful that it will soon be sorted out.

Shiv Sena politician Sanjay Raut, who is also the film’s producer, however, maintains that the makers will go ahead with the trailer launch today.

The trailer of Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer Balasaheb Thackeray biopic is all set to release today. The first teaser of the film was released almost a year ago and last month we got to see its second teaser.

The movie is set for a release next month, makers are leaving no stones unturned to promote the event.
