Sambit Patra dares Congress spokesperson to slap him on a show

In the election season political discourse is at an all time low, a video Doing the rounds has dominated the social media charts for the wrong reasons.

In a show hosted by India Today, BJP Spokesperson Sambit Patra was seen ‘requesting’ a Congress spokesperson on the show to slap him as the latter was seen making impatient and violent gestures towards Patra on the stage and abused him on national television.

“Aap maarna chaahte hain, main marne ke liye tayaar hoon. Aap maariye.”, Patra said to the Sanjay Nirupam, Mumbai Congress President, who was seen shouting and calling the former ‘dramebaaz’ and ‘badtameez’.

Patra also said that country cannot be led by ‘Rahul Gandhi the clown prince’ and said “Main yaha janta ke saame kehta hoon main marne ko tayaar hoon and yeh yaha dhamki de rahe hain! Yeh Congress party hai!”

Recently, another video from a debate on a news channel was doing rounds on the internet where the panelists were seen engaging in a physically abusive scuffle.
