Tata Motors, over the weekend, released teasers of the upcoming Tata Harrier SUV, which is expected to be launched in January 2019.
The Indian automaker’s recent release shows a closer look at the Harrier’s music system as the new Tata Harrier features the best-in-class JBL speakers for enhanced acoustics. The teaser also shows sections of the cabin, which is designed in accordance to the new ‘Impact Design 2.0’ philosophy, and the new Tata SUV is the first to employ this new feature from the company.

The teaser released earlier gave a glimpse of the overall dashboard.

The recent teaser casts light on the smartly designed hand rests on the doors with silver handles and leather wrapped grips. The SUV gets a chrome lever to unlock the door. The dashboard features a set of trapezoidal vents with bold bezels finished in brushed silver and wooden dashboard panels.
The earlier teaser confirmed that the Harrier will get a floating 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system similar to the concept and a dual-tone finish in grey and brown on the dashboard. The Features will include –

– Bluetooth telephone
– Reverse camera display
– MirrorLink
– Android Auto
– Apple CarPlay, etc.

The exteriors of the new Tata Harrier remain similar to that of the concept model, which was showcased in the Auto Expo. This sets an expectation for the cabin to remain similar as well.
The Tata Harrier is built on the company’s new OMEGARC platform and will compete with rivals like the Jeep Compass and Renault Captur in the Indian market.
