Fashion designer and servant found murdered in Delhi

Date:

A fashion designer, Maya Lakhani was found murdered along with her domestic help in her house at A-82, Vasant Kunj Enclave this morning. Three men have been held as suspects for the murder.

The police found marks of knife stabs on both the bodies. The bodies were found on the floor and blood was all over them. The 53-year-old lady was found dead in her bedroom and her servant’s body was spotted in their living room.

The police traced seven marks on Maya’s body. The incident was reported by the neighbours around 3.00 AM when they heard a heated argument coming from the designer’s house.

Maya Lakhani owned a fashion boutique in South Delhi’s Green Park. According to the neighbours, robbery was the main motive behind the murder of the designer and her servant.

She also has three tailors working from home and apart from the boutique, she was running a small office from her house as well. During the investigation, the three suspects have claimed that Lakhani did not give their salaries which is why they plotted to kill her. Police is, however, verifying the facts to reveal the real motive behind the murder.
