Jammu and Kashmir: Three terrorists neutralised in Kulgam encounter

Srinagar: Three terrorists have been killed in an encounter with security forces in Larro area of Kulgam district of South Kashmir on Sunday. The operation has concluded.

Confirming the same, Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbagh Singh told reporters here, “The encounter concluded just now and I have been told that three terrorists were neutralised in it. The operation is being winded up. The identities (of the terrorists) are yet to be ascertained. We will shortly give out the details. There are no casualties from the police side.”

The latest encounter comes two days after two terrorists were gunned down when they tried to attack the police in the Kralhaar area of Baramulla district in north Kashmir.

The police had recovered two AK-47 rifles with Under Barrel Grenade Launcher, three grenades, two Chinese pistols and other weapons from their possession.
