After answering Amitabh Bachchan’s 14th question successfully, Assam’s Binita Jain on Friday became the first crorepati of the Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 10.
Hosted by Bachchan, KBC 10 started earlier on September 4 on Sony TV.

This is the first instance for a contestant to win Rs 1 crore. The episode, which will air on October 2, Bachchan will be seen congratulating Binita for winning Rs 1 crore. Further, he will be asking her to proceed cautiously as she attempts to answer the last question, which can win her Rs 7 crore.
Earlier, a ticket examiner from Bhagalpur, Somesh Kumar Choudhary, and graphic designer based in Gujarat, Sandip Savaliya, have both won Rs 25 lakh each in the current season. However, they quit the show as they were unable to answer the 13th question.
