Priced at Rs. 3.5 crores, the Ferrari Portofino launch countdown begins

The Ferrari Portofino is all set to be launched on Friday, 28th September, 2018, in Delhi. Portofino, which is a grand touring sports car is estimated to hit the Indian markets with a price tag of Rs. 3.5 crore.

The car was unveiled at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show and is a successor to the company’s previous V8 grand tourer, the California T.

The chassis of the Portofino is made from 12 different aluminum alloys. Weight saving has been kept in focus during the development of the Portofino. The car shares the same heart as the GTC4Lusso T- 3.9 L, twin- turbocharged V8- churns out 591 hp at 7, 500 rpm and 560 Nm of torque at 3,000- 4, 250 rpm. It can accelerate from 0–100 kmph in 3.5 seconds and 0–200 kmph in 10.8 seconds and has a top speed of 320 kmph.

The Portofino, which is named after the Portofino village in Italy, features an electrically assisted power steering. The rear seats now have an increased leg room and the infotainment system is more advanced and easy to use, sporting a 10.2-inch display screen in the centre console, featuring Apple CarPlay.

Also coming up later this year, will be the replacement launch of the 458, called the 488 Pista.
