Aishwarya Rai Bachchan received the inaugural Meryl Streep Award for Excellence at the first Women in Film and Television India (WIFT) Awards held in Washington DC.
The actor was accompanied by her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan and mother Brinda Rai at the ceremony.
At the WIFT Awards, Aishwarya was spotted wearing an Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla creation, a black gown with pleated tulle and gold embellishments. While Aaradhya looked cute in a pink dress with a red floral headband.
Apart from Aishwarya, Janhvi Kapoor was selected for the WIFT Emerald Award for her debut in Dhadak and Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar received the Wyler Award for Excellence in Direction.
