Relive Agatha Christie’s detective novels in this double-decker hotel bus

Date:

Do you remember reading the novels by JK Rowling? Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban are two such novels that made Rowling even more popular than before.

Do you remember the bus that was talked about and shows in the Harry Potter series? Is it your wish to travel in bus similar to the magical bus, even though it might be a bit noisy and chaotic. If not the same, here is a bus that would take you into the world of fantasy and fiction.

Named as Bertram’s Hotel, a Devonshire double-decker converted bus is what we are referring to. You will be mesmerized with the collection of books and posters of Agatha Christie here.

The Bertram’s Hotel is an 18-year-old bus that has been restored to relive the old charm of the 1950’s with the addition of the modern-day home facilities.

On the ground floor of the bus, there are two single beds, a sofa bed, a cocktail bar, a music player that plays tracks from the 50’s, a retro kitchen, dining area, a television set of the vintage era, and bookshelves.

Located in the village of Hartland, the bus is surrounded by lush green lands with two fishing lakes nearby. You can also get off the bus and visit the nearby craft shops, cafes, restaurants, and potteries for some more activities.

At a time, five guests can be accommodated in the bus or the hotel for seven nights and the rough price of the stay would be 516 pounds or Rs. 45,000.
