Alec Baldwin, the American comedian and actor is all prepped up to play the role of the father of Bruce Wayne or Batman in Joker, the stand-alone movie by Warner Bros.
The script paints Baldwin’s ‘Thomas Wayne’ as a cheesy and tanned businessman who is more in the mould of a 1980s Donald Trump, confirmed The Hollywood Reporter.
The shooting of the film is slated to begin in two weeks starring actor Joaquin Phoenix as the DC comics villain. Before this, Baldwin was seen in ‘Mission: Impossible – Fallout’. He was also seen in the role in ‘Motherless Brooklyn’, a drama made by Warner Bros.
