2 NCR youth set out on a 4200 kilometres ride covering three nations

Date:

On the occasion of Independence Day, two residents of NCR took off on an expedition of 4200 kilometres starting from around India Gate on motorcycles.

Abhishek Mishra from Gurugram and Sonia Jain from Delhi embarked on this journey and their destinations include India, Myanmar, and Thailand. The tour is expected to end on September 1.

The route on which they embark is India-Myanmar-Thailand Expressway which is also called the Friendship Corridor. The distance of the expedition will be approximately India for 2500 km, Myanmar for 1300 km, and Thailand for 400 km.

The reason for them to embark on this journey is to exhibit the geographical, social, and cultural diversity of the above-mentioned south Asian countries. The duo also plans to record their journey and broadcast it through social media, blogs, and a short film.

Abhishek Mishra is also an athlete and competed for the Iron Man challenge thrice. The two had met in September last year during a marathon in which they both were participating. Initially, they thought of embarking on foot for the entire journey, however, after several discussions, they decided on biking through the entire tour.
