This is the 25th movie that the actor will be seen in, and the film is being directed by renowned director Vamshi Paidipally.

Adding to the fact that he is one of the most respected and talented South Indian actors of all times, he is known for his contribution in Telugu films. The well-known actor is also the son of veteran actor Krishna. Babu started working at an early age as a child artist and has graced us with many path-breaking films. He is recognized for movies such as ‘Nijam’, ‘Spyder’, ‘Srimanthudu’, and ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ which was his latest release. The popular actor is also commonly known amongst his fans as ‘Prince’ and is married to the former beauty queen Namrata Shirodhkar. After the release of his latest movie ‘Bharat ane Nenu’, Mahesh’s fans were eagerly waiting for him to announce his next project. Recently, he also became one of the most followed South Indian celebrity on social media, by having just 1.5 million followers on Instagram alone.

Mahesh Babu has been known for making films around social causes. His previous films such as ‘Srimanthudu’ and ‘Spyder’ and ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ revolved around the same subjects. ‘Srimanthudu’ focused on the upliftment of villages by helping the villagers who were suppressed by a corrupt minister a corrupt minister and his brother. ‘Spyder’ was based on an engineer who creates a software that helps bring a change in the society and ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ focused on the changes in the system and infrastructure as a younger Chief Minister steps in to run a corruption free government. We wonder if ‘Maharshi’ would be a satirical drama too.

Previously, a picture of him with Bollywood biggie Ranveer Singh had gone viral on the internet. Turned out the actors had collaborated for an ad shoot for a leading cola brand for which, both are the brand ambassadors. Mahesh endorses the cola brand in the southern region of the country while Ranveer has been promoting in in the northern parts.
