Nepal PM to visit China on June 19

Six days from June 19 to June 24, Prime Minister of Nepal, KP Sharma Oli will be travelling to China on an official visit.

Nepal’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated on Wednesday, “At the invitation of H.E. Mr. Li Keqiang, Premier of the State Council of the of the People’s Republic of China, The Rt. Hon’ble K. P. Sharma Oli, Prime Minister of Nepal, is paying an official visit to China from June 19, 2018.”

The statement further said that the countries are set to sign agreements and a Memoranda of Understanding, however, the venue for the discussion has not yet been disclosed.

Prime Minister Oli will be accompanied by the Minister of Home Affairs Ram Bahadur Thapa, Foreign Affairs Minister Pradeep Kumar Grawali, Barsha Man Pun – Minister of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Raghubir Mahaseth – Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, and Chief Advisor – Bishnu Rimal. Some Members of Parliament and high-ranked government officials will also join the Prime Minister on his tour.

At the Nepal-China Business Forum, PM Oli will address people in Beijing followed by a visit to Lhasa to meet the provincial leaders.
