Dad and son clear class 10 with same marks in Odisha

Date:

The father-son duo in Odisha cleared class ten examination scoring equal marks on Monday, hailing from the coastal district of Balasore.

The father, Arun Kumar Bej is a senior BJP leader and had to stop his education due to his father’s demise while he was in class five. His son, Kumar Biswajit Bej could not crack his examination some years back and sat down to re-appear for it.

They were both happy on seeing the result wherein the father and son scored 60 percent marks with a total of 342 out of 500 from the Odisha State Open School.

Although the lack of metric level education did not stop him from joining or being a part of politics, the inferiority complex that he gathered from his relatives, nieces and nephews instigated him to take this decision at the age of 54.

For Biswajit, it was a matter of guilt that he had not cleared his examination in 2004 which motivated him to re-appear and score the desired result at the age of 30.
