Date:

Delhi’s Karkardooma Court on Friday convicted Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav, his wife Radha and a company in a recovery suit filed against them for failing to repay a loan of Rs 5 crore which they had taken in 2010 for his directorial debut.

Pronouncing the actor and his wife guilty, the Karkardooma Court has reportedly set April 23 as the date for their sentencing.

The case dates back to 2010 when Rajpal Yadav and his wife had taken a loan of Rs 5 crore from a Delhi-based entrepreneur, MG Agarwal, who is the owner of Murli Projects, for his directorial debut ‘Ata Pata Laapata’ (2012). The businessman filed a recovery suit against Yadav and his wife after they failed to repay him the amount.
