VT Bharadwaj, managing director at Sequoia Capital India, the local franchise of Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm, has resigned after an 11-year stint.

A special part of this role has been the privilege to partner with incredible founders in consumer and healthcare, he said, adding that he will continue to be on Sequoia boards.
This is the second high-level resignation from Sequoia. Sequoia India is yet to see windfall returns from its portfolio companies. It’s portfolio companies include JustDial, Citrus Pay, Pine Labs and Quick Heal.
