Arvind Apologywal does it again; now apologises to Arun Jaitley

Date:

As per sources, Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal has apologised to Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in the defamation case the latter had filed. As per news agency ANI, a joint letter by Kejriwal, as well as his fellow Aam Aadmi Party leaders Sanjay Singh and Ashutosh, has been issued.

The defamation suit by Jaitley has not being withdrawn, but a joint application is being filed for a decree based on the apology by Kejriwal and the 3 other AAP leaders.

Kejriwal has been on an apology spree of late. He’s also apologised to former Punjab minister and SAD leader Bikram Singh Majithia, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and senior Congress leader Kapil Sibal .

On March 19, Kejriwal and Gadkari submitted a joint application in Delhi’s Patiala House court seeking withdrawal of a defamation case filed by the latter. The application was submitted after Kejriwal wrote a letter to Gadkari in which he regretted making defamatory remarks against the leader.

“I made certain statements, without regard to its verifiability, which seem to have hurt you. I have nothing personal against you. I regret the same. Let us put the incident behind us and bring the court proceedings to a closure.” wrote the AAP chief to Gadkari.
