Sridevi’s sudden demise on Saturday has left the entire country shocked. The 54-year old actress reportedly passed away because of a cardiac arrest in Dubai.
Sridevi reportedly had a fainting spell in her bathroom and was immediately rushed to Rashid Hospital in Dubai where she was declared dead. Sridevi had gone to UAE, along with her family, to attend her nephew Mohit Marwah’s wedding.

Arjun Kapoor is the son of Boney Kapoor and Mona Kapoor (Boney’s first wife). Arjun Kapoor, step-son of Sridevi, has been by his step-sister Janhvi Kapoor’s side at Anil Kapoor’s residence in Mumbai ever since the news broke of Sridevi’s demise.
In an interview years ago, Arjun Kapoor had opened up on his relationship with step-mother Sridevi.
During the interview, Arjun termed his equation with Sridevi ‘cordial’ and said he respected her and did not wish ill for anyone.

Meanwhile, Sridevi’s autopsy has been completed and her mortal remains will be flown back to India today. Sridevi’s autopsy report is expected to come in today. Sridevi’s last rites is likely to be held in Mumbai.
Sridevi made her Bollywood debut in 1978 with ‘Solva Sawan’. But it was only after five years with Jeetendra-starrer ‘Himmatwala’ that she gained commercial success. The actress, who went on a break for 15 years after starring in home production — ‘Judaai’ made her comeback in 2012 with director Gauri Shinde’s ‘English Vinglish’.
In 2017, she was seen in revenge-drama ‘Mom’ opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Akshaye Khanna. She shot for a special appearance in superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film ‘Zero’ which releases in December.
