Rameshwaram: Actor-turned-politician Kamal Haasan is all set to launch his political party in Madurai on Wednesday. Kamal started his political tour with the launch of his party and its guidelines and will also unfurl the party flag.
On Wednesday morning, Kamal Haasan visited the family of former President APJ Abdul Kalam where he took blessings from them and he also gifted a pen to one of the family members in Rameshwaram. The actor-turned-politician is expected to visit his hometown Ramanathapuram, as well as Madurai, Dindigul and Sivagangai districts during his tour.
As told by the sources, Kamal Hassan’s new party could be named ‘Dravida Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam’.
