A 32-year-old pregnant woman was allegedly raped by unidentified men when she had gone to relieve herself in Kachula village, Uttar Pradesh, police told on Saturday. She went to a field at 5 AM on Friday, the accused tied her hands and feet and stuffed a cloth in her mouth.

The SSP said that when the woman did not return home after a long time, her family members started searching for her. They found her from a nearby forest in an unconscious state, after which the family members informed police and the woman was then admitted to a hospital, he said.

The women was sent to Bareilly for treatment, her statement would be recorded on Saturday and the police is still searching for the accused.
