Here are a few things you could look forward to.

Furniture

Furniture this year will be all about comfort. Huge and laid-back furniture, sunken seats and daddy bear armchairs will be the favourites.

Lighting

There’s something about a home that’s well-lit. It’s livelier and has a certain character you can’t deny. Huge windows with ample sunlight can turn the tables for you. Minimalistic window frames to offshoot this will be ideal.

 Colours

2018 will be the year when brown and beige will make their comeback and invade the interior design scene. Grey green palates will work wonders and will be huge change from the bright colours that dominated spaces till now. Brown and beige exude a sense of quiet strength and calmness that is commonly associated with elements of the earth. These are the best bets for 2018.

Accessories

Wallpapers are all set to return to our living spaces. Predictions state that wall paper will be the hottest trend this year. Bold, striking patterns will be a statement.

White tiles, indoor plants, decorative pebbles (especially for bathrooms) will dominate the pattern and styling part. These organics add nature’s best without overpowering the sanctity of your house. False ceiling and intricate textures will add drama and panache to the set up. 2018 will see these return to your homes.

Oversized artwork is also set to be the biggest interiors design trends for 2018. Top designers predict this to be a real sell as far as spaces are concerned. Drastic sizes to smaller widths will create dramatic signatures. Monochromatic attracts attention without the clutter that over ambitious paintings have in them. You just need to set them on a blank wall, adorn them with a minimal amount of other decorations, and your interiors will look so much better.

The proverbial lantern is poised to conquer the interior design scene this 2018. Rather than going for a conventional lighting fixture for your dining room, a huge paper lantern will certainly add something incredible to your interiors. This lighting fixture has a lot of character and gathering anyone under this lantern over a meal will surely be a great experience.

2018 is all set to focus on simplicity and minimalistic. Soothing colours and a relaxed demeanour is what this year will all be about. A year of style, luxury and out-of-the-box possibilities.
