The shot was fired from TAC-50 rifle from the top of a building. The high calibre bullet took about 10 seconds to hit the target. The record 3450 metres is now almost unbeatable, according to the military experts. Earlier, the record was held by British soldier Craig Harrison who shot and killed a Taliban militant at 2,475 meters away.

Shooting from such distance requires an extraordinary skill set. Shooting target from more than 3 Kms has been done for the first time in history.
