Cyclonic storm kills one and destroys 100 houses in Arunachal

A massive downpour of rain and the cyclonic storm has uprooted several homes and claimed the life of one man near New Mohong area in Namsai District of  Arunachal Pradesh.

The 90-minute long cyclone completely destroyed the phone lines and DAMAGED more than 180 houses including Anganwadi centers, Schools, hospitals and MLA’s residence.

Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein who is also the local MLA is shocked over the fury unleashed by the mother nature and he has requested the administration for swift assistance from the government.

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister, Prema Khandu has released fund for immediate disposal of teams for relief and restoration of the affected area.
