Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerburg recently posted a video on Facebook and launched a salvo against President Donald Trump. In his first week, he banned refugees from seven countries including Syria.
In his post, Zuckerburg said he was worried about the moves that Trump has recently taken, claiming America is the country of immigrants and that his own and his wife’s ancestors were refugees. Read his full post here:
Zuckerberg says that to maintain the safety of the US, law enforcement mechanisms needed to focus on those who were actual threats to the country instead of those that were just assumed to be threats. Trump has cited ‘security concerns’ as the reason for the temporary ban on refugees in the States.
He said he would be working with his team at FWD.us to find ways to help the situation.
