The Chief Minister also asked the Deputy Commissioners to identify the issues and concerns which create law and order situation in the district and submit report to the government projecting the aspirations of specific communities with suggestions for different programmes for fulfilling them.

Government will include such innovative programmes in the forthcoming budget, he said and added that the Government is working for inclusive development and it is the responsibility of the DCs to ensure that all schemes implemented in their district must encompass all and reaches all.

The DCs were also asked to bring about reform in the Social Welfare department stating that the department has experienced setback in recent times due to mismanagement and lack of motivation of the employees.

He also directed the DCs to conduct motivational workshop with all functionaries of the department to boost up the morale for a reformative change.

Appreciating the active role played by the Deputy Commissioners for successfully holding the 3-day Independence Day celebration in the state, the Chief Minister directed the DCs to ensure the forthcoming Republic Day be more inclusive ensuring the participation of all communities.
