Apple iPhone 7: All you need to know about Airtel and Reliance Jio offers

After a month of its global launch, Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are now officially available in India.

Apple iPhone 7 begins at Rs 60,000 while the iPhone 7 Plus springs at 72,000. Apple is giving the Black and Jet Black colour finishes only on the 128GB and 256GB storage types. Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus highlight the same 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch displays like their ancestors but offer 25% more brightness.

Now that Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are suitably available from authorised sellers, telecom companies are attempting to score a big goal as well. Two major telecom operators Airtel and Reliance Jio have come up with 4G data offers in an effort to attract iPhone 7 buyers on to their mobile network.

Reliance Jio is endeavoring additional 12 months of Jio Digital Services paired with the purchase of all iPhone models. Reliance Jio states that the offer is not narrowed to just limited to iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus but also reaches to iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus and iPhone SE. In a report, Reliance Jio states, “This offer will be available for new iPhone purchases across all Reliance Digital stores and select Apple Premium Resellers (APR) and Apple Authorized Resellers (AAR).”

Apple iPhones are already suitable for Reliance Jio’s ‘Free Welcome Offer’ which provides free data and voice calls till December 31, 2016. After that period, Reliance Jio announced that iPhone users will be transferred to a 12-month complimentary service under company’s Rs 1,499 plan. The plan grants unlimited free local and STD voice calls.

The pack also provides passage to 40GB data usage over JioNet Hotspot and subscription to Jio Apps. Reliance says the entire complimentary package alters to a saving of Rs 18,000.

On the other hand, Airtel is offering 10GB free 4G/3G data per month for one year with any Airtel Infinity Postpaid plan. Airtel states that the free data benefit will be over and above the plan benefits.

“We are delighted to roll out this exciting data offer for our users to allow them to get the most out of the amazing iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus,” said Ajai Puri, Director Operations (India & South Asia), Bharti Airtel.
Airtel remarked that over the duration of one year, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus users avail get 120GB additional 4G/3G data. Airtel’s Infinity plan starts at Rs 949 with 1GB data.
