Anil Kapoor proud of Priyanka Chopra’s international success

Mumbai, Sep 9 (PTI) Anil Kapoor is proud of internationalsuccess of Priyanka Chopra and the actor says he is happy withthe way the actress is working on her career. Priyanka has been creating waves on the internationalscene since her American TV debut "Quantico". Heaping praise on his 34-year-old "Dil Dhadakne Do"co-star, Anil told reporters here, "Whatever I say aboutPriyanka will be less. I am so happy that today not onlyIndian audience but the whole world is singing her praise. Shehas become a global star today." The 59-year-old actor was speaking last evening at thelaunch of a song from Priyanka’s maiden Marathi production"Ventilator". Anil said he came to launch the track forthe actress and her mother Madhu Chopra. "I am here for my friendship with Priyanka and hermother. Madhuji called me and I knew I had to come. Some bondsare like that, you don’t need to talk daily, but they arestrong enough…," he said. "I got to know Priyanka closely after working on ‘DilDhadakne Do’ and I realised, she is not just a huge star hut afantastic human being. It’s my honour to be here," he said. "Ventilator" will reportedly have a cameo by Priyanka. It will feature several veteran Marathi film and theatreactors.
