‘Open A Door to Israel’ exhibition to start from Sep 9

Bengaluru, Sep 4 (PTI) A virtual exhibition aimed atproviding a peek into Israel’s heritage, music and innovationthrough nine huge door-shaped screens will get underway herenext week. The 17-day ‘Open a Door to Israel’ exhibition, a virtualtour of Israel, will start on September 9. "To the true face of Israel; to Israel in all its beautyand complexity. Our goal is to expose as many people aspossible to the country’s heritage, music scene, family life,education system and innovation," Gilad Erdan, Israel’s PublicSecurity, Strategic Affairs and Minister of Information saidin a video release here. The exhibition, which will be thrown open to the publicfrom September 9 to 25, is a unique experience which promisesto take audiences on a virtual tour to Israel, MadhusudhanaRao, media consultant to Consulate General of Israel, toldPTI. "The main problem in the world is that many don’t knowIsrael and here people will get to see all the aspects ofIsrael, including technology and medicine," he said. The exhibition is designed to evoke curiosity,participation and spark exchange of ideas between twocultures, he said. It takes a peek into the country’s heritage, music scene,family life, education system and innovation. Also included isa multimedia show on Israeli creativity, synchronised withrobotic screening technology, Rao said. The interactive exhibition is built around nine doorswhich tell the story of Israel. "Each door represents one of Israel’s brand values andbehind each door is a large LED screen with an interactivevideo, games, virtual interactive library and much more," Raosaid. PTI BDN APRMRJMVV
