12 minors being trafficked to Mumbai from Assam rescued

Rangia (Assam), Sep 4 (PTI) Atleast 12 minor girls andboys were today rescued from a train at Rangia station whenthey were allegedly being trafficked to Mumbai, followingwhich two persons were arrested, police said. Acting on a tip-off, a team of Railway ProtectionForce personnel rescued the 12 minors from Dn Kamakhya-Dekargaon Intercity Express at the Rangia railway station,they said. Two persons, Shanti Munda Boro and Gunadhar Nath, who weretaking the minors to Mumbai, were arrested, police added. PTICOR DG NNAQS
