Criminal arrested

Jamshedpur, Sept 3 (PTI) A criminal wanted in overeight cases, including three murders, was arrested from Telcolocality here, police said today. Acting on a tip off that the criminal Mohan Kashyap wason his way home in the locality last night a police teamheaded by deputy superintendent of police Animesh Naithanyconduced the raid and arrested, senior superintendent ofpolice Anoop T Mathew said. The leads were given by the man’s accomplice MangalTudu, who was arrested by Seraikela-Kharswan police inconnection with the murder of contractor Sanjeev Singh in Maythis year, he said. Kashyap is also wanted in the case and confessed thathe had taken Rs two lakh for killing the contractor, Mathewsaid. He is also an accused in the killing of the Railwaycontractor Balram Singh in Chakradharpur in May last andanother person in Seraikela-Kharswan district this year. The man is wanted by East and West Singhbhum as wellas Seraikela-Kharswan district police in connection withvarious criminal cases. PTI BS KKKK
