Sunny day in Delhi

New Delhi, Aug 22 (PTI) It was a sunny and sultry day inDelhi with the mercury settling at 36 degrees Celsius, twonotches above normal for this time of the season. "The maximum temperature was recorded at 36 degreesCelsius which is two notches above the normal and the minimumtemperature was recorded at 26.1 degrees Celsius normal forthis time of the season," a MeT official said, adding thatthere was no rainfall. The humidity levels oscillated between 92 and 76 percent. The weatherman has predicted generally cloudy sky fortomorrow and maximum and minimum temperatures are expected tohover around 36 and 25 degrees Celsius respectively. Yesterday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 26.1degrees Celsius while maximum settled at 35.4 degrees Celsius.PTI GJSRG
