Date:

Kochi, Aug 19 (PTI) A local court today rejected the bailplea of Ameerul Islam, prime accused in the brutal murder of aDalit law student at Perumbavoor in April. The Ernakulam Principal Sessions Court, which consideredthe bail plea moved by Islam, noted that the case is underinvestigation and this is not a fit case for granting regularbail to the accused.
