Mistress dispelling has become a big trending story for the Chinese. The threats for them now come from within. Recent stories have surfaced which show that the mistress dispelling has come up as an occupation for many Chinese.
What is a mistress dispeller?
In China’s wealthier cities, it is a status symbol to have a mistress(sad), a young beautiful woman on your arm, other than your wife. The wives, to do away with these “other woman”, use the services of mistress dispeller.
These “mistress dispellers” are hired by the housewives of China. They live close to the mistress house, befriend her, gain her trust, and then use that information against her. They get the mistress out of the husband’s life by getting the mistress a new job or a new lover. The mistress never knows that she’s been “dispelled” nor the husband.
This business is a huge money earner, scorned wives pay as much as $60,000. The system is such that the mistress disappears and things turn normal, and the wife and the husband never actually talk about the infidelity.
In China, in a separation women rarely receive an equal share of property and finance, and some deeply conservative family values can mean they often bear the brunt of the stigma from divorce.
