NASA’s Curiosity clicks picture of Mars, triggers ‘mouse’ debate

Date:

A picture taken of the planet Mars by NASA’s Curiosity has triggered a debate: on whether the pictured object is a ‘very large mouse’ or just something shaped like a mouse, or worse still, just an optical illusion.

Amateur Astronomer Joe White enhanced the image on his YouTube page, and said that the object looks like a ‘possible very large mouse or other rodent’.

But, White is also open to the possibility of the object being as ‘an optical illusion’.

The Curiosity rover has spent more than three years studying mars.
