Gold biscuits seized from flight in Kerala

Kozhikode: Two gold biscuits were seized from an Air Arabia flight at nearby Karipur International Airport on Wednesday.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of DRI sleuths, who checked the plane, found two gold biscuits worth more than Rs 30 lakh concealed in a plastic bag and kept under a seat.

The flight was coming from Sharjah.

No arrest has been made so far in connection with the seizure and investigation is going on, DRI officials said.
