Yogi, Ramdev try to gain brownie points over ‘D’ incident

Date:

BJP MP Yogi Adityanath has slammed Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan for writing to the UN over the Dadri lynching case and said it was an attempt to earn “cheap publicity” through “non-sensical” actions.

While criticizing Khan, he said, “This incident is unfortunate as it was due to SP’s failure.”

“Some people love cheap publicity through their non-sensical talks and I don’t want to comment o omment on them. In fact it is unnecessary,” he added.

On the financial assistance announced by UP government for the lynching victim’s family, the BJP leader said, “These are wrong things started by the state government. But I want justice for all and appeasement for none.”

He also urged the government to take care of all people irrespective of caste, creed and culture so that there is no injustice to anyone.

The 43-yr-old BJP MP is expected to visit Dadri tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Yoga guru Baba Ramdev has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should implement anti-cow slaughter laws across the nation, just like Uttar Pradesh.

“If Uttar Pradesh Government can implement anti-cow slaughter laws then I think Prime Minister Modi should think about implementing it in the nation. With this, all the dirty politics that is being played over the issue of beef will stop,” said Ramdev.”
