Girl takes Coca Cola to court for ‘no date’ with Hrithik Roshan

Date:

Star struck Panchkula girl drags Coca Cola to court for failing to keep their promise of sending her on a date with Hrithik Roshan, a prize for participating in a contest and seeks Rs 2.5 crore in damages!

How far would you go to take care of your star craze? I’m sure you have a favourite actor, or cricketer, or some other celeb. Thee question is, what would you do to get to meet them? Stalk them on twitter, try getting hold of their number, hover around their mansions, or simply enter some contest that promises you a date with them, isn’t it?

When die-hard Hrithik Roshan fan Shikha Monga from Panchkula got to know that she could go on a date, yes, an actual date with him, entering the contest that allowed her the luxury was a no-brainer. She entered the contest and won it, winning herself what she thought to be a romantic date with the star.

But, that was back in 2000 and she heard no word from Coca Cola, who had promised her the evening of life.

Frustrated at the non-response of the company, she has gone to the court seeking Rs 2.5 crore in damages!

In fact, she doesn’t even have to not pay Rs 2.43 lakh as court fee for the suit as the court observed that it was ‘proved on record that applicant is not possessed of sufficient means to pay the court fee’.

Talk about being star struck!
