LGBT community demands repeal of anti-gay law

Date:

Bangalore: LGBT community protested in Bangalore demanding repeal of anti-homosexual law by the central government. Slogan-shouting and placards holding LGBT community members demanded equal rights for themselves from the government. The Supreme Court in December 2013 outraged activists when it reinstated a law against gay sex, following a four-year period of decriminalization, which had helped bring homosexuality into the open in India.
