Bareilly: Two men have been arrested for allegedly killing two brothers in Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly district on Saturday morning.
The victims – Narendra Pal and Ravindra – were murdered allegedly for opposing the molestation of their sister. The incident occurred in Karpiya village of Faridpur.
According to the victims’ family, a fight had broken out between the two families following the eve teasing. The accused, Somveer and Anil, lived in the same village and often teased the girl on her way to school. When the two brothers tried to defend their sister, Somveer and Anil allegedly killed them.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem. Meanwhile, the issue had become huge and the village Panchayat was also called in but no decision was taken.
