Lucknow:Â The Akhilesh Yadav government, facing severe criticism for the spate of rape incidents, has now transferred 10 IPS officers. The government had last week removed top bureaucrats including Chief Secretary and Principal Secretary, Home.
The IPS officers who are being transferred include Moradabad SSP, Bijnore SP, Hapur SP, Saharanpur SSP and Auraiya SP.
The transferred officers have now been attached to the DGP office in Lucknow. A new IG of special task force has also been appointed.
