Anandiben Patel takes oath as Gujarat Chief Minister

Gandhinagar: BJP leader and former Gujarat Revenue Minster Anandiben Patel on Thursday took oath as the Chief Minister of Gujarat succeeding PM elect- Narendra Modi. She was administered oath by Gujarat Governor Kamla Beniwal whose blessings she sought after taking oath. BJP leaders Rajnath Singh and Arun Jaitley along with Narendra Modi, attended Patel’s oath- taking ceremony held at Mahatma Mandir in Gujarat’s capital Gandhinagar. Post taking oath, Gujarat’s first woman CM, Anandiben Patel, received greetings from the other leaders present on the dais. Some members of her council of ministers also took oath today.
