Puri appointed Ambassador Grand Duchy of Luxembourg

Manjeev Singh Puri, India’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN, and the ambassador to Belgium will also be accredited to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

An Indian Foreign Service officer of the 1982 batch, Puri will also be accredited as Indian ambassador to the Council of the European Union and The European Commission. Puri an affable diplomat with impeccable credentials was earlier the Deputy Indian Permanent Representative to the UN in New York. Previously he headed the UN economic and social division at the MEA headquarters in New Delhi. Puri is known to be an effective diplomat with excellent people skills.
