New Delhi: Metro rail services were briefly disrupted at Kashmere Gate Station on Friday after a fire broke out in a shop here.
“No interchange was available at Kashmere Gate from 2.05 PM onwards due to smoke after the fire broke out in a shop at concourse level of underground section of the station. Station skip was given to both Line-1 and Line-2 for Kashmere Gate and several passengers were evacuated to a safer place,†said a DMRC spokesperson.
