JAYA’S AMBITION IS MULAYAM’S POISON!

In politics, one man’s food is another man’s poison. Didi’s ambition is Maya’s poison, and Jaya’s ambition, Mulayam’s poison. It is now clear that the race for PMO is four-cornered: Jaya, Kejri, Rahul and Modi, in the reverse order of entering the ring.

But Jaya is the only one who can get an Oscar. On the first day of his becoming prime minister, Kejriwal would declare a week-long dharna at jantar mantar, demanding the Delhi police be brought back under the Centre’s control, which was shifted to the Delhi government on his own request. And Kejri will go one step ahead and threaten a fast unto death, if his demands are not met in 30 days.

Modi, on the other hand, would start with ordering a statue of Liberty model of Sardar Patel. But not just one, but three more – one of Vivekananda, one of Gandhiji, one of Nehru. And not just that, but one of his own, to communicate symbolically that Modi is Patel, Vivekananda, Gandhiji, and Nehru rolled into one, as his own will rub shoulders with the greats.     

The cherubim Rahul will start with a marathon session with the people across the country to know what they expect from his government. It would be a historic documentary – something of the kind of Chanakya’s Arthashastra or Machiavelli’s Prince, which would form an ideal textbook. But the problem is, by the time Rahul finishes his magnum opus, his first term would be over! 

And if you thought these leaders will change the landscape of India, you are living under an illusion called Democracy!
