A video, showing police arresting a person hidden inside a grave, has gone viral on social media, claiming that a faith healer was held for allegedly duping people.
The video is shared on Facebook with a Hindi caption: “मुरीदों के पुकारने पर पीर साहब कब्र से जवाब देते थे। जब पुलिस को पता चला तो पीर साहब को आवाज़ समेत कब्र से बाहर निकाल लिया । #insta #india #instalike #viralpost।” (English translation: When the devotees called, Pir Saheb used to answer from the grave. When the police came to know, they took out Pir Saheb from the grave.)

FACT CHECK
NewsMobile fact-checked the above claim, and found it to be not from India.
Performing a Reverse Image Search, the NM team spotted the official YouTube page of Hamdard Media Group Canada carrying the same viral video, dated April 11, 2021, with a description: “Punjabi Alive Man in Grave Yard | Peer Baba Grave Yard Viral Video | Fake Peer | Man Grave Yard 2021”
The same video had been found on another YouTube channel, dated February 15, 2020, with a description: “In the area of Sadar Police Station Cantt, Sialkot, a fake peer went into a grave to pray for his disciples for 40 days. Here is the footage of his being taken out from the grave.”
The same video had also been uploaded on a Pakistan-based news channel on February 15, 2020, saying: “Exclusive!! Room In A Grave Of Fake Peer.”
Thus, it is evident from the above information that an old video is being falsely shared as a faith healer arrested in India.
